Saudi Arabia to Host 2026 Future Aviation Forum as Kingdom Extends Record Aviation Growth

Riyadh gears up to convene over eleven thousand global aviation leaders and showcase sustained expansion in passenger traffic and flight operations
Saudi Arabia has announced that it will host the 2026 Future Aviation Forum in Riyadh from April twentieth to twenty-second, bringing together more than eleven thousand global aviation experts, industry leaders, policymakers, manufacturers and carrier executives as part of its ongoing role in shaping the future of international air transport.

The announcement comes alongside data showing Saudi civil aviation’s third consecutive year of record-breaking growth, reflecting robust passenger demand and expanding connectivity.

The fourth edition of the Future Aviation Forum, organised by the General Authority of Civil Aviation under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, will be held at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center.

Under the theme “Unlocking Global Growth, Designing the Future Sky,” delegates will address critical issues in global aviation, including sustainable growth, advanced air mobility, digital transformation and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.

The forum builds on the success of previous editions, which have been recognised by the International Civil Aviation Organization as key platforms for international cooperation and innovation in the sector.

It aims to foster strategic partnerships, enhance global air connectivity, and catalyse investment opportunities within the global ecosystem.

Registration for the event is open, and representatives from more than 150 countries are expected to participate.

Saudi authorities highlighted that the aviation sector’s strong performance continues to align with the objectives of Vision 2030 and the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, supporting economic diversification and international engagement.

The kingdom’s aviation infrastructure enhancements and policy initiatives have contributed to sustained increases in passenger volumes and flight operations, with associated gains for tourism, trade and logistics.

In addition to high-level discussions, the forum will include collaborative sessions and networking opportunities aimed at strengthening international cooperation and addressing supply chain, regulatory and capacity challenges.

By convening stakeholders from across the world, the event is set to reinforce Saudi Arabia’s position as a global aviation hub and a centre for industry innovation.
