Iranian President Engages Gulf Leaders in Phone Calls for Enhanced Cooperation

Discussions among Iranian, Kuwaiti, Emirati, and Bahraini leaders focus on bilateral relations and regional developments amid festive greetings.
Iranian President Massoud Bezhakian engaged in a series of telephone conversations with leaders of Gulf Cooperation Council countries to discuss regional developments and bilateral relations.

During a call with Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, President Bezhakian extended his warmest congratulations for Eid al-Fitr, expressing wishes for mutual prosperity for both nations and the Islamic community.

The discussions included a review of the robust bilateral relations between Kuwait and Iran and explored avenues for enhancing cooperation across various sectors.

Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad expressed gratitude for the communication, highlighting the historical ties between Kuwait and Iran and underscoring the commitment to foster collaboration for further mutual benefit.

Bezhakian reiterated Iran's willingness to expand relations with Kuwait and its neighboring countries to deepen the bonds of friendship and cooperation.

In Abu Dhabi, President Bezhakian also spoke with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, where both leaders exchanged Eid greetings.

The conversation delved into cooperative relations between the United Arab Emirates and Iran, with an emphasis on enhancing bilateral ties to meet the aspirations of both nations for progress and prosperity.

Bezhakian conveyed a desire to strengthen relations with neighboring and Islamic countries.

Sheikh Mohammed expressed his intent to visit Tehran soon to further advance ties between the UAE and Iran.

In Bahrain, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a call from President Bezhakian, during which they exchanged festive greetings for Eid al-Fitr.

Bezhakian reiterated Iran's commitment to developing relations with Bahrain and expressed optimism for expanding collaborative efforts in the future.

The series of calls reflects a renewed focus on diplomatic engagement and cooperation among regional players in the Gulf.
